Question: Will there be CERP's or CEU's offered at the Birthing, Breastfeeding & Bonding Conference?

Answer: We will be applying for CERP's through IBLCE. There will be 9 total CERP's available for the conference. Please see the "schedule" page of the website for more information. The cost of receiving CERP's is $30 per registrant. This will be payable by cash or money order when you sign-in on October 2nd at 8:00am. Organizations like DONA do not require CEU's if CERP's have been previously approved by organizations like IBLCE. For information, check out DONA.org or IBLCE.org. Thank you for your patience.

Question: Why is the conference in Lethbridge?

Answer: Lethbridge is an often forgotten city when it comes to events like this one. The need for education is present in our area, just like in any other part of the province. Both Andrea and Daleen (co-chairpersons) live in Lethbridge, therefore, it made perfect sense to have our windy city host the event in October!

Question: Who is sponsoring the conference?

Question: I`ve heard that the conference is geared towards Health Care Professionals, is there any portion that will be for the public?

Answer: On Friday night we will be screening "ORGASMIC BIRTH" - admission is by donation - this is open to the public. There will be a silent auction happening on Friday evening also. There is also a portion of Saturday from 10:15am - 12:20pm where we will be hosting the INTERNATIONAL BREASTFEEDING CHALLENGE, as one of the break out sessions, and afterward the public is more than welcome to stick around for a PANEL OF PROFESSIONALS that will include our speakers and other professionals from around the world! Lunch is NOT provided.
